    Hello forum! Need info.

Hello forum. I went to the Mopars at the Battleship show in Mobile and met some guys who told me I should check out the forum. I'm going to a 1/4 mile track Friday night to run this car for the first time. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

Shut off the ESP, raise the pressure in the front tires to 45psi, lower the rears to about 25psi, keep the coolant temp as low as possible....160-180deg will work wonders. Install a 180 t-stat if you haven't already.I find the best results from only a slight stall against the stock converter of about 1200 rpms and feather the launch (ie don't mash it, but progressively let off the brake as you lay into the gas). A Predator will help tremendously if you have one.

Leaving at idle it ran 2.1-60ft, 8.9-1/8 at 82.5mph, 13.76-1/4 at 103mph. If I tryed leaving hard it just spun the tires really bad. This was last night, the temp. was 73 and very humid as always in AL.

That's a low 13 second car with that trap speed, bud! Get your launch down and you'll be dropping ET's. What were the track conditions and weather like? Did you run on a hot motor or did you get a chance to cool her down....and did you change the tire pressures?

Track conditions were horrible. I didn't really get a chance to let it cool down enough. I still gotta get me a 180 stat. Can somebody tell me about some lightweight wheels that I could put some sticky tires on. I really don't think it's gonna hook up otherwise.
