First time on the forum from Simi Valley, CA

    Hi all,
Michael here, and I recognize a few of your names from the 300C forum and from Spring Fest last Saturday. I picked up my 07 300C SRT about 2 years ago in perfect condition, with just under 30K on it. I did the all the quick gotta have mods .... Diablo, CAI, Catch Can, CRM tune and it was fun; but I needed more. Next was a 125 shot Nitrous, another tune and better brakes. Fun, but that only lasted a few months. Time to get serious - Yep, a call to Ryan at Stack Performance. Now I’m running a 426 Stroker, forged rotating assy, Stage III cams, heads, blue printed and balanced, bigger injectors, 87mm TB, Stall converter, Corsa Exhaust, etc. Granted first and most of second gear are worthless but nothing looks better than a luxury SRT screaming up the freeway on ramp going sideways. Although I’m not a big believer in Dyno numbers 500rwhp is still a fun number. But one has to ask, if Ryan can get 500 HP from a NA 426 Stroker, what do you think he can do with a blower? So I asked – my new parts are on order now; Vortech VC-3 Sci Trim, Kooks long tube headers, new rods and springs, stage III blower cam, KB boost-a-pump, and a few other “must haves”.

Hoping to get lots of tips and learn from all of your experience, contribute what I can and make a couple new friends.

Santa Susanna’s still twisty – they added the other Freeway on ramp going westbound a few years ago. The only one who uses it ist he CHP; Great place to test the Xband detector. Box canyon is a fun turn off too –especially since Charlie Manson moved to Corcoran State.

My Mom used to live up there. There was a burnt down house next door and in the garage I found some original model T tools. It was back in the 70s when I was a lad. Is it still kind of rural out there along the pass?

Thank you all for such a warm welcome. Who wants to race? Oh what am I thinking, I live in Kalifornia - we get tickets for just thinking about going fast. Speaking of which, I heard from a friend I ran into at Spring Fest that Fontana has closed down their dragstrip - Has anyone been to Farmosa, near Bakersfield CA? If so, is it a good track? Any interest in getting a group together for a day at the track?
