    DMAG's big welcome

    Hey all,

I just realized I created these forums and never bothered to introduce myself!

My name is Anthony, alot of you know me from DI.Net. I recently changed over to DMAG on most with the creation of this site. (No, DMAG is not some teenage hip-hop group, its just simply a play on "Dodge Magnum"  )

I've always been a car geek. I've owned just about every make there is out there and torn most them apart and put them back together again. Back in the early 90's I played around alot with Ford 302's in FoxStangs and even did a Fiero V8 transplant.

My first foray in Chrysler products was a 93 Concorde 3.5L Lxi that, while being a super comfy car....was a big piece of crap. After getting rid of that I went back to Fords for a few years. I then picked up a brand new 99 Intrepid base model that I basically revamped into a totally loaded ES (leather, OTIS, lots of electrical modifications)

Well, the Intrepid...while a great car, was involved in an accident and repaired better then new....But, the itch for something new set in. I sold the Intrepid to a member on DI.Net (who still has it to this day...nary a problem) and bought an '03 Jeep Liberty 4X4 which I lifted and did some suspension mods on (and yes, actually WHEELED it much to the chagrin of Jeep purists). Shortly thereafter my commute went from 10 miles a day to over 100 miles a day. Bye bye Jeep...hello Neon. Yup, I picked up a used '01 Neon to do my daily trek. I've had it for 5 months now and have already put 13,000 miles on it.

Luckily I was able to pick up a 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4 to give my Jeep bug a scratch whenever I felt like having a little fun offroad.

But, my biggest wish now is to purchase a Magnum. Specifically a Magnum RT. It'll be a weekender as long as my commute is long (hey, throw the miles on the Neon!) but guranteed it'll be driven....hard.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the site and here's to a great future!

Even though I am closer to the big 60 mark sooner than I'd like, coming here and my SRT-DG is allowing me to re-live 1969 all over again! I, like you have gone the gamit with vehicles(40 in 40 years!) and still get excited with PURE Muscle whenever it lites off!

    Again, A belated WELCOME---------Just a little late-------LOL

    Dang... Bumpasaurus Rex.

Good chance to say thanks to you Anthony!

Oh and if there were still a Soviet Union I'd swear this site was a communist plot, what with all the gazillions of productive working hours us lazy capitalists have poured our strong hearts and weak minds into.

Cheers to you for creating our favorite place to play, bitch, whine, inquire, inspire, conspire, enflame, plot and generally make a nuisance of ourselves... off the streets and safely indoors.
