    Can't post photo

I signed up for Yahoo Photos and uploaded a few photos there. I thought I followed the instructions, but no photo appeared, only the URL and it wasn't even a clickable link.

    What am I doing wrong?

That looks like a link to the page that displays that picture not the link to the actual picture. If you bring up the picture on Yahoo's page right click on it and SELECT properties, copy the "Address (URL)" part of the details and thats what you'll use in the img tags above.

doh, looks like Yahoo uses some kind of dynamic URL that prevents you FROM doing what you are trying... alot of those sites do that because they get most of their income FROM the ads they run on their site so they want you to go to their site to see the pics. That being said there are some services that will allow you link to the images but your best bet is to use the space that was allocated to you by your ISP, thats what I do. Most ISP's give you some storage space on their servers to host web sites or images that you can link to FROM anywhere. I think some of the other members use Photo Bucket.

    Good luck!

    Let's try another hosting place.

    2nd try <img src="http://tinypic.com/p7rlv">

    3rd try http://tinypic.com/p7rlv

Well, it's an improvement; there's a link that works.

Photo Bucket isn't currently accepting any more free accounts. I guess i'm SOL for now.
    Thanks anyway.

Man, Photobucket's great, that's too bad...

We (the site) will have photohosting soon, first to site supporters, then if we can, to everyone.

THis site is so great, I'd be willing to pay a subscription if it's not too exoborant (SP) and you got some extras. Like photo hosting.
