LX 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T in England

    Hi all forum members.

I am now, at the age of 62, a retired cartographer who has been driving US vehicles here in the UK since 1979 and am now the proud owner of a 2006 DODGE CHARGER DAYTONA R/T in Go ManGo!, my first real muscle car.

Would be delighted to hear from anyone else with their experiences of this model and what if any to look out for in the way of possible problems.

The REC Navigation system has been changed to the European REJ version but have not yet been able to source an REJ User's Manual or in fact a VES User's Manual for this vehicle which were both missing when the car was acquired. Can anybody help with original copies or even as pdf files?

The REC Navigation system and DVD are now available if anyone is interested.

Look forward to hearing from other members, especially if they live in UK.

    Seasons greetings to all,
    John.

Welcome aboard from Brampton, Canada. What number is the car?
I'll see what I can find re: Users Manual.

    Welcome from Dayton, Ohio, USA!

PLEASE tell me you did NOT buy that from an English Cowboy named Mark!!

An "old-timer" from one of the other forums worked in Texas for a few years, then when he moved back to England, he shipped his GoMango Charger back with him! What number is yours?

    Have fun!

I was thinking the same thing when I read this thread. I wonder if he bought Mark's GoMango Charger that he shipped back to England, when he moved back.

Here are some possible problems you asked about:
Right foot gets sore from over use.
New lines appear on your face from excessive grinning.
New lines appear on your forehead from arguing with "HAL".
Your nose may get sensitive from inhaling tire smoke.
    You'll say Whoa.......much more frequently.
Your pulse rate will increase unexpectedly.
You will find you need those little blue pills much less often.

    Welcome from another UK member.
I'm guessing you bought the one that was advertised on the net recently from Herts area somewhere?

Be interested to check out your Nav upgrade as currently I still have US version, so no Nav, Sirius etc.

Try ringing my friend Stuart at Westaway Chrysler Jeep in Northampton, sure he'll be able to help you out with manuals, tell him Dean sent you!!

Welcome from Southwest Georgia. I am 62 also and bought a new Top Banana Daytona in March 2007. I just drive it on the weekends and have only 11,000 miles on it but have not had any problems whatsoever.

I love the car - very fun to drive.
