    Would this fit SRT midpipes?

Would these clamps fit where the SRT midpipes goes into the X-pipe? I got a bit of a leak (don't ask... really) and will absolutely not weld.

If so, anyone know where I can get 'em cheaper? lol. yeah... I know, I'm a cheap-ass.

I needed to temporarily mount the SRT catback to my RT midpipes so I could drive it that way to get my SRT manifolds & SRT midpipes installed without having to load the catback inside the mag. I had a local muffler shop fab me up a pair of adapter pipes, cost me $10.

Well thats the thing. I tried that but in NYC they try to rape you sans-lube for everything. Came from an exhaust shop earlier today and he wanted $75 to fab up some adapters. Screw that!

Btw, I really don't need an 'adapter' per se, since the SRT midpipe slides into the X-pipe. Its just that my X-pipe had to have about an inch cut off of it so as a result, the midpipe doesn't slide in as much as it should. Because of this I'm getting a slight leak. I'm looking for a nice wide bandclamp to stop the leak, not actually connect to 2 pipes.

So you have SRT midpipes and an SRT catback, but the catback doesnt slide in as deep as you'd like it to?

I had my 6.1 mids welded directly to the cat back. Problem solved!

Yes. Due to me having the SRT catback before I put in the engine/midpipes, it was necessary for the guy to cut about an inch off of the catback. So it simply doesn't slide in deep enough. Its only in there by about 1/3 of an inch. Yes... that small. In fact, on my way to work (about 10 minutes ago) one side came out.

Once again, you're a lifesaver Erik. I will purchase these (2.75" version) now and go downstairs and hammer my catback back into the midpipes. Hopefully they'll stay until I get the clamps.

    Thank you.
