I got mine because Erik beat me about the head and shoulders

I have to say the only thing about it I dont like is backing up, its something with the gearing and the stall, I have managed to do 2 reverse peal outs :/

My APS is kinda "fruity" as well! It feels mushy and seems to have a lot of slip in 3rd. It is getting yanked next week for the ProTorque...

Cam you drove my APS... if there was ever a time to swap it out, now is it. I'm actually concerned I might see some of these reported behaviors at these new projected power numbers...

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

/me seconds HHP on that one.

Dont forget that with the higher HP numbers you rgoing to get a bit more stall out of the converter than you would say in a mostly stock motor.

True, of course. But I was pushing 370 at the rears when Cam drove it. Not sure where I'm gonna be with this new motor.

Does the Pro come in variable stalls? If so, which stall might you suggest?
