Where will these parts be in a year?

So, since I'm deploying and plan on buying lots of parts when I get back, I was just wondering where everything thinks the aftermarket will be in a year. I don't want to start planning on something now, when it will be old news a year from now.

So mainly I'm asking about strokers, heads, cams, and all the other assorted stuff that we might not know about that will be improving/coming out in the next year or so.

    Currently:
MBRP Cat-Back, Predator. Hoping I will get my AEFIS, or atleast some of my money back now

    Future:
Go to save up and work on making the fastest N/A engine out there. Everyone needs goals, no?

I think it will all be cheaper. Hopefully there will be aftermarket head castings as well...

Wel... plan what you want to accomplish. Then wait until you get back to see what is the latest and greatest to accomplish those goals. Prices should have dropped on some items, and then other things will come into market as well..

I guess what I'm really trying to say is should I plan on buying cam A and head B from Vendor C now, or should I just wait till I come back to start shopping around.

i would wait to shop because their is new technology every month being developed and parts also and the automotive world is changeing everyday, something new is developed everyday and that keeps the aftermarket improving so cam a and heads b might be crapy compaired to the performance and bang for the buck buy next year....

Well the flip side to this is that I waited for my heads/cam for two years now and nothing really has changed much. Pricing was about the same as well.

The aftermarket will still be here, and it will be strong when you return. We're all progressing at such a high rate that it's a great time to be a consumer at this market.

Lots of quality vendors out there offering a very high quality product and the competition is fierce. It's great for everyone.
