crank sensor is in the bellhousing on the passenger's side. you can access it from under the car, by the right exhaust manifold flange.

I went and bought a new one at Checker for $20
Removing that damn clip was harder than removing the sensor itself 
Took it for a test drive, and it started right up. and ran smoooth.
The CEL is off.
but the
ESP
BAS
lights did pop back on while on the test drive?
I unpluged #14 fuse while I put away the tools.
Then stuck the fuse back in and checked the OBD for codes again
ALL CLEAR, No codes.
I will have to wait and see how everything goes tommarrow

2 Days later and no issues, no problems, no fault lights or error codes
So it turned out to be a $20 & 20 minute fix
(Moderator maybe this should get moved to the 3.5 forum ?)
