    Two stage NOS

I picked up a Zex kit and I am thinking of making it a two stage, a 75hp shot at 2000 to 3500 to get it out of the hole then another 75hp shot added in at 3500 to shift point. If I were running a single stage system a push button would fill the need, but to keep things consistent and manageable, I think a controller is going to be needed. Has anyone used 2 of the MSD 8969 to control each stage? I know it will work for a single stage, any reason it would not work for a 2 stage?

    Thanks

I have not used THAT system..............

I highly recommend the Jacobs Mastermind or the controller Cold Fusion offers.............

The Cold Fusion works on seconds into the run..............

So I would wire it like this; a WOT switch and a button to a relay.............this is for your initial 75shot.

Also attached to this relay is the Cold Fusion controller with a 1.5 second timer that you program into it...................the count down from 1.5 to 0 starts from the time to press the button for the first 75 shot.

This brings in the total 150 amount at about 3 seconds from initial launch.

Does this make sense to you?

Why I also like this is because if you let off the throttle or the button, it cuts 12V from the timer and no second shot comes in.
