for those of you with dual autometer gauge pod

How is this gauge pod to be installed?

I tried to install it on top of the A Pillar but it just doesn't fit, i couldn't put it back, the lower gauge housing completely rubs against the dash.

The i tried fitting it without the A Pillar on and it fits great, the only problem is that i am not sure if i can just install it without the A pillar behind it.

    What do you think?

I used to have the dual pod from auto meter and installed it without the A pillar installed and it fit fine. The pod did rest against the dash which helped hold it on.

I got it to fit with the A pillar on. Its a very tight fit which I like. The directions say you may need to trim it etc...

Thanks for the info! i will try to fit it in with the A pillar on then.

Did you needed to trim anything to make it fit? Or is it just matter of pushing/pulling/pressit till it gets in its proper place?

No trimming for me, just had to take my time and wedge it in position. Once its on it fits fine, just a matter of getting it past the head liner and dash.

I got mine in too without trimming or anything. I used some 3M spray adhesive at the top to keep the pod snug against the A-pillar.

Hey guys, I plan on getting a AFR gauge but was wondering what else should I look to monitor with a gauge meter? I don't have EVIC,I know so sad. I wanna get a double or triple gauge A-pillar.
