PSI's the only way to go IMO. I think R is now running them as well (at least I hope he is). Shouldn't have happened to him.

Anything planned for the fuel system other than Boost a pump? Curious, as I seem to be running out of fuel with just boost. I just broke down today and decided to get serious about it but I am not wanting to compromise the stock engineering at all. I have science'd out a parallel system to work with the stock baskets. Any thoughts on this matter?

Hi Chris,
I'm running a drop-in Walbro 255 Fuel Pump with NO KB Boost-A-Pump, along with 63lb Injectors. So far it has been just fine, although I haven't been able to test it much yet. I'll know sooner once I start driving it when it's tuned, and that if she starts running out of fuel at the top end on the dyno.. but I don't think she will.If it has troubles starting with a low fuel amount, I'm going to drop in the factory fuel pump in a second basket to pump into the main basket that the Walbro is housed in.
I'll know more once she gets tuned, which should be by the end of the week.. and I'll keep all of you updated on my findings.. just remind me.

Hmmmm, whats this about a drop in Walbro??? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find one that has the same type of feeds on the bottom that will connect to the bottom of the basket like our stock one does.....or connect to the factory outlet for that matter. I can easily find a way to connect the pump to the fuel line but how did you get around the fancy plastic fitting and one way flapper on the bottom of the basket? Without the flapper, the basket does not fill....without the special plastic fitting you don't draw any fuel from the driver side tank. Please enlighten me.
My solution was going to run a second walbro strapped to the outside of the basket...sucking off the floor of the tank....feeding a into the pass side basket. It gets much more complicated from there but I am curious as to what exact pump you went with?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
