    Suitcase Delete done...

Ok since Punissher did the suitcase delete and posted a video and all...

I went ahead and had the suitcase removed today....

Pros - I like that there is now some exhaust sound...like a muscle car should...

So far, no drone - although there are some noisesome spots down in lower rpms.

Good at speed, most sounds behind me...

Cons - a little raspy, but sounds good at idle

at WOT it does make noise, but not exactly full throated - of course, its not a big block either so...

    Worth the $60 bucks...

Will report back if it starts to irritate me..

dont think it would irritate you.

i've had it for about 5 months.

i always whine about it being raspy but when i drive behind my car, it actually sounds good.

you can actually hear the car take off when its stepped on. will always have people around look for where that sounds coming from

I decided to go with deleting the resos on my srt 300. I'm happy with the way it sounds. I have the suitcase delete on my 5.7 and it sounds sweet. Sometimes makes me wonder what the 300 would've sounded like with a suitcase delete. I plan on putting flowmasters in place of the suitcase, though so.....

If you guys think it sounds a LITTLE raspy, put the rear seats down once. LOL. It's nasty. It'll actually make you want something else :P
I ran it for about a year, but it was always too quiet for me. Now straight piped w/ reso'd tips and the wife still says it's too quiet :D

my buddy has a srt charger and he did the suitcase delete and to me it sounded like it had rocks rattling around in the resos. Now he has Areo mufflers with no cats and I think its the loudest lx ive ever heard.I can hear him from 2 blocks away.

It's a great mod if you don't want your car to sound like a truck when cruising... Some people want loud all the time and for those, it's not the mod.

To me it sounds like a loud Corsa system with balls. Go with high flow cats too, if you want more meat in the sound.
