I have em on my Impala SS... real raspy Nascar tone with long tubes, no cats, x-pipe, and no resonators. The drone does kinda suck but if you turn the music up, it isn't THAT bad.

The Spintechs are prone to drone (geez) because of their design. Would cats and resonators help? I would have to think that they would. How much they would help is another story. I drive my car alone, with my friends, and occasionally with my wife and while I don't drive it as often as I would like, the few times that I do drive it, the drone does tend to annoy me. I added dynamat, a few layers of carpet padding, and a new plush rubber backed carpet. That definitely decreased the drone in the car. That along with the music turned up, made it bearable again. Before that though, I was contemplating on getting a new exhaust, being that I already have the DMH Electric Cutouts.
If you regularly drive the car with the wife and kids, I would say to pass on the Spintech exhaust, because while you may enjoy it, they might not. All of matter of personal preference.
This is the only SRT I could find with a Spintech Exhaust. I'm actually rather curious to hear others, if they're out there.

I have them on my srt8. I replace the magnaflow muffler with two spintechs mufflers. I left the magnaflow reso's in place. Its sounds really nice when i hammer it. No drone whats so ever. The magnaflow would done but not now

Sorry no sound clips. I don't think I have ever been on the back seat of my car while the car is moving. You can't really hear it once my car goes into overdrive in the drivers seat.
Spintechs are built tuff. Expect them to last forever. Really heavy duty construction. Kinda gave a my car a nice nascar sound. I wouldn't get Spintechs without some reso's. I have heard them on youtube without reso's and I am more them sure they will drone badly on a hemi.
