Which spark plug should I use on an SRT-8 with nitrous?
I believe I should go one range cooler than stock, but I see everyone saying to use the NGK 4306. According to NGK's website, that plug is one step cooler than a 5.7L Hemi, but is the same heat range as the stock plug on the 6.1L Hemi.
Should I be going one range cooler than the NGK 4306 for using a 100 shot on an SRT-8?
Thanks.
The old rule of thumb is 1 heat range colder for each 100 HP. Copper is said to be the best for nitrous. Seems many are running the Iridium's with good results, I am now.
4306 is the stock heat range. Which is a 5. One step colder would be a 6 heat range.
I also was running the 4306 with a 100 shot with my last setup. I usually ran some race gas when spraying.

2315 NGK Iridiums, one step colder than stock SRT plugs.

I think I'll go with that. There seems to be a lot of confusion as to what is "one step colder." The SRT-8 plugs are already one step colder than 5.7L plugs.
I can't find a plug that I like one step colder than the 4306, so I think I'll use the Iridium plug as you are. I think I'll close the gap down to about .035 as well.
Thanks for the help everyone.
