It's TORRED or NOred!
thanks bud!
a hemi...
Ha! you wish.
lol... the heads are just sitting on there with a couple of bolts to hold them on. the shop has quite a few projects in it and I need the space.
With the MG, the new engine, the parts for the Jeep and Nick's Charger and 440 and other parts, the shop is FULL. lol.
You hope... but no I'm going to be able to make most of the races this year.
Florida, Virginia, MIR and Atco I will be at, the others, we'll see. But Gretchen is very supportive and know how much I love to wrench, race and hang with you guys. When the boys are older, I'm hoping she'll come with me to an event or two.
Yeah, I'm pretty excited Jonn. It's gonna be a beast.
In answer to Tony's question, it's an Arrington forged 6.1.
The Heads and Intake are off of Nick's 440. It's the Modern Muscle set up that I just couldn't let get away. They are just too nice of a set, and proven to make good power.
The cam is the one Nick ran in the 440 last year and the first part of this past season. Nick and Dacaman came up with the specs, and both agree it should be a great cam for this set up.
I picked up a 90mm from RobSRT and some other odds and ends.
How I got into this build is a great story, that I'll write up when I have more time.
Look out Super Stock class... I'm coming for ya.

Screw these hecklers, from now on just tell them what is going on.
The engine is in now, wish you could see it - dropped it in headers and all.
I posted that pic with instagram, so it's all stylize... and a bit blurry.
Since we go to Florida for Christmas, I'll get started as soon as I return. Should be the 28th of December. I'm gonna roll in from Fla, and straight into the back of the house. As soon as it's cooled down, I'm ripping into it.
yeah... it's actually orange....
I can't wait... it's such a tease to have it in the shop and just need time to do it. We're so slammed with work that I've been working until 1 or 3 am each night, and back at it by 8:30 or so... lol. Gotta work hard to play hard.
Here's Monty's view....
Ya know, from behind....
