Pretty sure Flex does. You could PM him, think he posted some vids of it too if you search threads.

I'm running their catback on my 06 magnum RT, I love it. It's certainly not the loudest system out there, so it depends what you're looking for. I just wanted my car to actually sound like it had a V8 in it, I didn't want to be the loudest thing on the block. Despite their claims of no drone I have to say that I do get some drone on mine right around 1440-1470 RPM, the only time it's noticeable though is going uphill at 50 km/h, or at minimum throttle for example in playground zones. On level ground and normal driving it's fine. To me its not a big deal, don't know if I'll bother adjusting the J pipes or not, but just a head's up that you might have to do some tinkering, at least with the SOLO you have that option.

As RyguyC posted, Solo CAT back system is mild exhaust, loud enough so you can hear the V8 but not let the cops know you are coming down the road few blocks away when you punch the gas.
I also get the drone at low RMP on mild throttle but I don’t find my Magnum stays in that RMP range too long. The drone is not coming from MDS mode, I installed the MDS light mode few weeks after I installed Solo exhaust. When MDS kicks in with Solo exhaust, only difference is change to exhaust tone and I would not classify it as drone, just sounds slightly different. I really didn’t notice when it was in MDS mode right after I installed Solo exhaust until I installed the light mod and now I can tell when it is in 4 cylinder mode without looking at the light. Solo exhaust does a great job in canceling MDS drone noise.

Next question: Are you guys running stock headers and mids with your SOLO set up?

Stock for me, I live in State where it is almost illegal to do anything to a car, can not pass smog test with aftermarket mids. I thought about shorty headers, but looks like pain in the @ss to put in. Just CAI to make noise in front.

^^^^ To the guys that have drone: I thought I read they were adjustmnts that you can make to kill the drone. Shifting the up-turn pipe(s) forward or backwards or something like that...???

I believe the J-pipe adjustment was for when in MDS mode and drone around 2,000 RMP range. The drone is around 1400 to under 1500 RMP range with very light throttle and not in MDS mode. It is not really bad, I may try J-pipe adjustment to see if make any difference when I have time to kill..

Cool Cool...I'm piecing a few things together and I am thinking of going SRT headers, gutless or high-flow cats, and the SOLO set up. It seems that the SOLO is relatively quiet except when you call for it but not over powering. I like the idea of "sneaking" up on whomever but ramping on it when needed.

    Any other thoughts or input?

If you are getting the SRT headers you may want to look into Solo's SRT exhaust too. I think they also have HF cats. That way everything is truely bolt in. Otherwise you will be adding a small piece of pipe between the the SRT mids and the 5.7 cat back.

On my 06 GTO, I have JBA mid with HF CAT on until this year when I had to get my first smog test (6years after buying new car and every other year after that), I had to put the stock mid pipes back in for the smog test and the sound decreased about 10%. I do have full JBA setup, from shorty headers to CAT back. Going to gutless CATs with headers may make it lot louder and exhaust will smell like rotten eggs. Even mid with HF CATs will increase the sound without rotten eggs smell. Also increasing the diameter of the pipes (SRT setup) will increase drone and sound quite a bit. Just remember, Solo J-pipe is tuned to stock exhaust system with just Solo CAT back system. With all the other mods from headers to no CAT or HF CAT, J-pipe may not be able to cancel out the drone in MDS mode, even if you try to adjust the J-pipe.

One bad experience I had with doing mod with exhaust system on my Honda Odyssey with 3.5L V6. I did not like how quite it was and there is no aftermarket exhaust system for this van, so I customized it several time. Stock exhaust was 2” pipe setup with about 28” long muffler. I had the shop cut off pipe right in front of the stock muffle and put in 21” 2.5” Sebring straight through muffler with 2.5” pipe going out of the muffler to tip. It sounded nice, louder and did not sound like a fart pipe. After few years, I thought it was bit too quite and want to make it bit louder, so I took it back to muffle shop and had them remove the resonator and increase the pipe after mid pipe to 2.5” to the muffler. This was the bad mistake, because just doing this made it drone loudly at cursing speed and it was so bad I was getting headaches all the time, I did like how loud the new system was, it was just about where I wanted for DD. After few months, I could not take the drone anymore, so the first step was to get a straight through 2.5” resonator installed and it decrease the sound a bit but the drone was still there but not as bad, but it was bad enough. After several more months later, I could not stand the drone any more again, so I got 2” resonator and had the shop put in 2” pipe from mid pipes up to the mufflers. That took care of the drone and sound was back to where I just changed out the muffle maybe bit louder, I wasted lot of money to make it sound bit louder. I am not saying going to SRT setup and gutless CAT will increase the drone but it may.
Oh one more thing, with stock setup or with just the 2.5” muffler setup, there is a 30 degree up hill I travel on a lot, when no one is around, I was able to take it up past 100 MPH with no problem (just took awhile), after the full 2.5” setup and with the gas peddle floored all the way up the hill, top speed was 96 MPH. I gained in mid range with full 2.5” setup but lost a lot on the top end. If you do go with the SRT setup and no CATs, you may need to get it tuned also.

Loosen the clamp on the J pipe and move the end tube out about 3/8 - 1/2".
I have a 383 stroker with 6.1 heads through mids and the SRT cat back. I had the same issue and ended up about 1" extention of the tubes. It's still dead quiet cruising at 70, but roars like the hounds got loose at WOT. It's not as deep of a idle tone as the Corsa Extreme, but was 1K cheaper.
Great fitment and heavy wall material. I beveled the pipes that slip inside, and it went together very easy. A cool design with the ability to easily adjust each rear pipe alignment. Nice tips. No complaints.

I love my solo exhaust. I have SLP LTs with me. It's decently loud especially changing from Borla 125s. I can hear more of lope from my cam also. WOT it def gets loud. I can be heard a coming down the block. If I can figure out on my phone how to post the exhaust I will or you can PM me you number and maybe I can send it that way.
