    sc issue, rpm jumping

    So I decided to change from 87 to 91 programming. I put in 89 octane gas cause i figured it could handle it, and i asked before about this. Drove 350 miles for thanksgiving getting 26ish mpg.
    Last day or so, after running a but, at a stop the rpm fluactates. Last night backing into the garage, I had to make a 300 point back up to get the car in and when i went from gear to gear (R-D, back to R) the car acted like i had a huge cam in it. To the point where the lights dimmed a tad. My RPM's were jumping about 300-400 rpms. Anyone experience this before?
    On latest software too if it matters

    They made their one and only custom tune to fix that. Some people experience stalling too. Not sure of this "fix" got put into v1.11 or not - make sure you are running v1.11. There were quite a few fixes and patches put into that version.

    yah I had that with mine as well. Post a reply in that thread listed and they will set-up you up with a custom tune to correct the problem.

    Yes, it is common. I did see a great improvement with V1.11.

    my programmer says 1.11 db 097 so i have the latest on it.....

    I went through that, there is 23 pages to this. Looks like I have to send in the serial number for the fix... thing is this is a used SC I got from a fellow member here, so it shouldn't be that off.

    Kinda reminds me of my horse, every once in a while he performs an uncommanded move. I just deal with it cause in the big scheme of things no one is getting hurt.

    I had the same problem....well it still happens every now and again especially when it is cold. I did get the custom tune but it is not 100% fixed. Later!

    Never experienced that yet with mine. I have a 91 octane tune running 89 octane gas. It drives great.

    Yes, I think so. I am unsure if they put the fix in the v1.11. This custom tune was before then, you should contact them to make sure.

    yeah I went there and people were listing all there programmers specs and such. Guess Sc was sending them custom tunes via their screen names or something. I'll check into it. As someone else mentioned, it happens every so often.
