I just got my JBA catback and installed it today, first off I love it!! The only question I had was for anyone who has installed this kit, did you have a hard time tighting down the pipe clamps? I made them as tight as I could and it seems like they are still loose, I'm not sure if I need to go tighter, I just don't want to screw anything up, like crush the pipe. Well let me know what you guys have done, I can tell it is loose when I start it up, but once it warms up it seems to be better unless I floor it,hahahaha.
Oh yeah and was there a specific way to put the mufflers on? I didn't see any label on the mufflers saying inlet or outlet, and what made me wonder is the baffles on the inside seem directional. I don't know which way they should go and if I put them on wrong will it hurt the performance or the sound? Thanks again guys!
I did not use the clamps provided in the JBA kit. I used good quality band clamps. I have had no issues with the exhaust so far. Also be sure when you installed them that you looked at the notes. It stated to pay attention to mounting the pipes on the hangers a little forward on the car due to when the pipe heats up it will expand up to an inch.

I absolutely love my JBA's. My only complaint would be that I wish they were a little louder. My wife agrees that it would sound better if the decibels were up a little. As engine speed picks up, it gets quieter, or it could be me. As it ages, it does sound like it is getting better. Perfect at how deep the sound is.
As far as the baffles in the muffler goes, I mounted mine as though the exaust would flow over the baffles and NOT into the open part. I think this would be a smoother flow and louder in the process.
This exhaust sounds much better in person than on the computer from any recording that I have heard, including JBA website.

Common sense is so rare it should be considered a superpower
Thanks guys, I looked these up on summit racing, they seem to run about 15 bucks each, is that about right? These are made by dynomax right?
I found it. I paid $8.78 each, the total was about $63.00 for all 6 at 2 1/2 inches.

If you don't already have the JBA HighFlow CATS - that's next!
call HHP and see what Josh can do for you, they are about the best bang-for-the-buck and will definately change the exhaust note. Performance boost and 'better tunes', what more can you ask for?

TsInferno, thanks for the link!! I think these will help my problem out, right now they are lose until the exhaust warms up and it will rattle a little under the car. Once it warms up though I guess everything expands and the parts stop rattling. I didn't want to weld anything incase I want to or need to take it apart again.
MikeEast, what is the number for HHP or do they have a website?
Lastly, does anyone know the answer to the other question I had about the direction of the mufflers? I can post some pics of the baffles if it will help any. Thanks guys, you all have been very helpfull, I'm loving this site and all the info!! Hopefully I will be able to lend a helping hand one of these days!
