I think we might need a new acronym... TTIWWS(ound)!
I figure if I get to suffer, you do too. New motor's here, but we've got some time before she's installed and makes these cutouts sing.
Everything you see was installed as per the kit, except that the openings were 'ported' and cleaned up a bit.

that's pretty!!!
Thank you Bigal470
SUPER CLEAN! Very nice I likey
I'd like to see something like that with a nascar style shorty pipe on it, maybe 8-10 inches and slanted back a bit - that's looks pretty sweet!

That is just a beautiful thing, Jason. Any word on the shop time needed for the porting and wiring install? Did you lose even a little clearance down under? What does Bob think now that they're on?
In short order you're going to finally be able to open those things up and chase me down for all those smartass comments I've made about you and your skateboard. (doh I did it again!).

Does California let you get away with that kind of mod? In other words, is it 50 state legal?
BTW, very kewl indeed!

Very cool. Do you have a link for those? The DMH website doesn't have the oval ones (or I can't find them).

Matt - 4 hours complete. I'm hearing Mark's port job is even better than his welding job; no seams at all. As for clearance, we wont know till the car is on the ground (needs wheels on it first). I've asked for an eyeball estimation. Waiting to hear back.
BBH - don't ask those kinds of questions you party pooper. But since you did (and I would have too), no they are not CARB legal.
Super T - No. I had to call and order personally. I got the feeling these are made to order.
That is some b-e-a-utiful welding.
You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them.
Regarding the clearance, here's Bob's comment:
"We angled them up slightly,so there's no loss of ground clearance. The pipe exits are angled down so everything is wonderful."
Very neat install. Is it not feasable to install them in a bend where the force would direct all exhaust out the open pipe. Does much exhuast still exit out the stock pipe. There is no baffle in the tailpipe to prevent this is there???

are cut outs louder than just straight pipes?
