I saw this done, and thought it REALLY makes the car look better under the hood. Its one thing I wanted to do that I have not seen many of. This was not one of the FREE or cheap mods I like doing, but this one will be worth it.

I called around and went off a friends recommendation of a company. It was the only one around me that was easy to talk to, and sounded like he new his stuff. The owner used to build airplane engines, and polishing is all he does. The shop was only open from 7-3 and since I work, he offered to meet me at his shop at 7PM to pick up my manifold which was VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Something I have not been getting lately when it comes to my car.

Anyway, he gave me a quote that was not bad... And he promised 3 days. I gave it to him Tuesday night, and he was done by 230 Friday. Only pasrt he could not do within the 3 days was the throttle body. He said for $50.00 more he would do that for me another time.

The item is not PERFECT, but the only parts that are bad, are where the bolts are and places someone would need a to have it out of the car to find...

Did you ever hear someone say that its better to be the first? Well, I called and called around, and found this guy... He charged me $400.00 ($50.00 of that was to strip it). I told him I know some people that might want it done, can you give them, and or me a break. He told me that he would not do another one for less than $550.00 and it would take 4 days, not the 3 that I gave him. (mine is a daily driver).

So I take mine to the Polishing GURU. Dude looks at it and says........NO PROBLEM!!!. 4-5 hours labor, maybe 4 bills. I'm like sure

, how about this, don't worry about it for now, but if you start hitting 7-8 bills, let me know. So long story short, 2 weeks and better then a grand later, I got crap. That's a smoking deal you got.

I can't believe you guys. These cars of ours consume endless amounts of our $$ on all the cool stuff out there already and then someone goes and does something like this. Someone's gotta put an end to all this madness. We're all going to go broke!
