Newbie needs help with used Flashpaq

Guys, I purchased a used Superchips Flashpaq for my 300C today and realized when I got home that I don't know much about these things.LOL

I plugged it in and wasn't sure what to do first. After playing with it for a few minutes I saw a message pop up that I think tells me it's "locked" to another VIN# (I'm assuming the previous user).

Does anyone know what I need to do to make this work on my car?

well im not sure, but that flash paq needs to load the stock tune back into that other users car

that way you can reset it to your car, because right now its mated to the other guys car...

i hope im wrong, if that is the case, return that sucker and get a Diablo Sport Predator, you cant go wrong their!

Problemz is correct, the person you got it from did not return his car back to stock. This means your tuner is locked/ mated to the last car it was used on. You "might" be able to get the manufacturer to unlock it for you but it's going to cost around $100.

Where did you buy it from, ebay, forum member? I got a Flashpack off of ebay a few years back and I had the same problem. The seller claimed that I broke it lol end result was that I won the dispute.

Get that puppy back to its previous owner for an unlock asap so you can get some use out of it!
