HEMI REGISTRY #426 DYNO VIDEO DYNO SHEET!
Thanks guys. The weather here yesterday was pretty nice. At the time of the run, just checking over at Weather Underground, it was 70 degrees with 36% humidity. Using the DA calculator, it looks like my 12.752 run was at 954 DA's, and the last run of the day, which was my highest trap speed was at 1233 DA.
The #'s I have posted are UNCORRECTED. I've always felt that posting corrected #'s gives way to too many variables that can cloud the picture. If someone wants to do the corrected #'s and post them, then go ahead. Took me long enough this AM to figure out the DA's.
Still happy as hell, and the cold weather isn't on us yet!![]()

Here is the timeslip from yesterday's 12.752 run. Don't pay attention to the weather info printed at the top. I think there thermometer was on a hiatus. 3 back to back runs had the weather data jumping from the 50's to 80's all within a 30 minute period. Anyhow, here it is...
Oh yeah, that was a 06 M5 in the lane next to me
Here is a good site that calculates DA and times and has all the tracks in the country and thier altitude and everything. Thier weather and the weather channel were a little different but wherever you got it was right in the middle of both. So it probably was the most accurate
http://www.modulardepot.com/density.php
Thats the site I used Al![]()
Great find, Al. Not only saves a great deal of time by eliminating the many manual conversion steps, but markedly reduces the likelihood of a computation error.
And, TorRed, couldn't find your altimeter setting (pressure) info listed here, so I used standard day for a ballpark setting. Using 29.92 your corrected time was 12.58@112.37.
Again, very nice job.![]()
You need to look at that link for wheather within 24 hours of you run when I looked earlier today at 10 am it was 66 degrees-46% humidity and 30.21 Barametric pressure and at 1pm it was 72 degrees-39% humidity and 30.19 barametric pressure. You can still get it at http://www.weather.com/weather/pastw...=0&when=081807
He was pretty close with his calculations being about right in the middle of both forecasts
So there are all the numbers do the math again
According to the Accuwheather the numbers were at 10 am DA 652... 12.66 @ 111.66 and the 1 PM run was DA 1065....12.63 @ 112.49
According to the Wheather Channel the 10 AM DA 1105....12.60 @ 112.22 and at 1 PM DA 1406....12.58 @ 112.90.
I was going to say earlier it would be nice if we could just use one calculation from one site and one weather forcast for everyone from across the country could post Corrected times but what was posted earlier just speculating on numbers would truly make that impossible.
If we were able to do something like that so everyone across the country could participate and be recognized we would need to be consistant in what we choose to be our calculations with one source.
