Thumbs up New personal best this morning for the HHP Stage 3 Heads & Cam

Decided late last night that I was gonna run up to Cecil today to give the nice weather some tests. My best time to date with the new heads and cam was a 13.216 last weekend at MIR. Don't know what the actual temp was today @ around 10:15 nor the DA's as my phone was on the fritz and couldn't connect to the internet. This is all done with a full tank of gas as well since this wasn't planned. I had slip off the line as well for about 25' as I forgot to do a couple of dry hops . Anyhow,

    R/T ---- .125
    60' ---- 1.885
    330 ---- 5.371
    1/8 ---- 8.228
    MPH --- 85.77
    1000 -- 10.694
    1/4 --- 12.752
    MPH -- 110.91

My highest trap speed of the day came at 12:45. That timeslip looked like:

    R/T ---- .074
    60' ---- 1.890
    330 ---- 5.394
    1/8 ---- 8.259
    MPH --- 85.80
    1000 -- 10.720
    1/4 --- 12.776
    MPH -- 111.23

I had several 12.8 and 12.9 runs when I was hot lapping. In all, I got in 8 runs before having to leave to go pick up the kids. Can't wait for the temps to drop even more and the low DA's to come back. Having a full tank of gas definitely hurt as well. These times are all UNCORRECTED.

Definitely have to say the Stage 3 package is a hit! Hopefully in the next week or 2 we can get it on the dyno and see what the Red Rocket is putting out now.

    Nice runs, TorRed.

What tires/wheels were you running for those sweet 60' times?

    Good show!

17x8.5" Borbets with Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials 275/40/17!

Was a blast for sure. Can't wait for the colder weather (wait, did I say cold weather when I work outside year long )

To date, my 1.81 60' back from April @ Englishtown is still my personal best 60'. That was with the Stage 2 package, a crappy tune, and BFG Drag radials mounted on then Voxx 18x9 rims...

Congrats Rob, those are killer times given the 60'. Those tires have some serious hook in them...surprised they spun for you out of the hole. You likely have a 1.7 / 12.5 run hiding in there easy.

What were your revs at as you crossed the line?

All the NA 5.7 records will be reset this fall for sure!!!

Congrats, mid/low 12's should be in your future, do you have any specifics on the borbet wheels (style, backspacing, where you bought them, etc., etc.)?

Don't remember what the rev's were crossing the line. Wasn't close to 4th, thats for sure. Even after I crossed the lines I was still in 3rd. I know my speedometer was reading 120 every run when I shut down. This fall is going to be wild, thats for sure!

Borbet wheels were purchased from the Tire Rack. Just enter in 2006 Charger SXT when you search for wheels, then narrow the search to 17" rims. I know for a fact the Voxx 17's DO NOT fit the R/T brakes. These wheels have a +12 offset. Here is the link to them on Tire Rack http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

These will fit the R/T's, but not the SRT8's or upgraded brake systems...

Thanks guys, today was definitely a highlight!
