    N2O Blow Down tube

Any one install a Zex blow down tube?

I can't see how this short tube can be routed outside of the car... so I assume it would have to be extended somehow...

    Pics... anyone?

I searched and found NOTHING... Should I assume that since it's not a go fast item and a safety item... we all just skip it??? LOL

You have to have it to run at the track in a magnum. I didnt because my bottle is in an enclosed trunk. Since you are basically out in the open, they will require it.

The reach of the tube would depend on where the tank is mounted.

I have the tube but need to swap out the valve on the bottle (wrong fitting from factory for the blowoff tube). Where my bottle is mounted the blowoff tube would reach fine once I poke a hole in the bottom of the trunk.

Were were thinking of attaching the tube at the end of the blow down tube with a hose clamp. You wouldnt see it, the metal tube would be the only thing you could see.

I have mine in the bottom where the spare tire used to go they never said anything about the blow down tube I guess because it is down there under the cover. If they make me I will just go right out the bottom. Sorry can't help with this one.

You can always attach a hose and clamp it down. I've never had a problem getting through tech with this setup.

What if we just vent it into the lower level.... If it really is okay to have no blow down in the second level... this is the same right?

Anyone know? (I suspect it's not okay to have no blow down in the lower level either, just that it is concealed from the tech guys, who don't really poke around our new cars much... they don't even ask to open the hood, so who knows if the setup is okay)

This is the tube... I don't have pics of mine but its exactly the same... the end won't reach outside of the car... wondering what folks are using to extend it... (or not)
