    Mopar CAI Filter Replacement?

I have a Mopar CAI and I want a backup filter, does anyone know where I can get just the filter and what the part number would be. I think it a K&N.

I know Mopar doesn't sell just a filter... I haven't tried to replace mine yet. I probably will if/when I start doing engine dress-up so I can start with a clean one and oil it red instead of blue. I guess maybe just measure the hole, bottom diameter, top diameter, and length and hit your local Autozone and see what they have that's close.

I have replaced mine with a AMSOIL EaAU3560 which is part of their absolute efficiency line of filters. It is available online. A great filter with more howl for the dollar.

    Revised Amsoil Air Filters??

Has Amsoil changed their design? Seems from their website the EaAU3560 now has a inverse cone end with additional filter material instead of just being capped. How long ago did you guys buy yours? Are yours all capped end?

    http://www.amsoil.com/products/ea_fi..._and_Specs.pdf

Also on the inside of the Amsoil filter does it have a nice rounded edge or is it a sharp edge corner. That is part of what makes the plastic adaptor that comes with the Mopar CAI so good it has the large smooth curve ... airhorn to it.

I am considering this Amsoil element for a replacement on my Mopar CAI. Thanks guys
