    Magnaflow exhaust is released

Just called Magnaflow today. The three muffler exhaust is now released. Retail price $945.55. Egads! I'm going to put in two Magnaflow 14325 stainless mufflers and some 4" tips in place of rear resonators next weekend. I'll be INTO it for around $300 before I dish out that kind of cash

    $945!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if that's the price they end up sticking with then they just made my decision pretty easy...i'll go with Borla. Well unless the somehow manage to up the Hp by like 25 or 30.

The dyno chart picture isn't working for me on their website....would anyone mind posting it or at least telling me the results. I'm expecting 30hp increase for that large price :x

They did have needsaSRT4's magnum on the website though so that's pretty cool.

I had stainless magnaflow 14" and tips, it sucked. The whole car resonates and rattles. You need to have resonators with that set up. Now I am running 2.5 inch all the way through instead of the 2 1/4 inch and flowmaster mufllers with magnaflow resonators. It now has the sound I like. Deep, but not resonating.

dont buy magnaflow dont waste money
i have exhaust system with resonator ONLY but it sound better
    than flowmaster and magnaflow.
    how do i kno?
because i had all of muffler
i changed mine three times then forth one was just resonator(two single:i guess its called glassback or something)
flowmaster 30 and 40, they drone a lot and when WOT sound goes away
u only hear deep sound around 2500 rpm after that just engien sound.
when WOT u wanna hear muffer sound all the way to u let off the gas just like commercial.
magnaflow did samething just less sound and less drone.
i think flowmaster/magnaflow sound great below 1500 rpm after that sound like 89 civic
i dont think u guys want that sound with HEMI
just inatall two single resonators. those sound better perfomance better and less money(each cost about $50-60 instead of $150) and there is NO drone at all.
mine is about 2 1/2 foot long because i cant have too loud because of my wife and baby(will born in jan 2005) but if u guys want loud, then get shorter one
u will like it for sure, l kno that i'd been go through all trouble.

that's disapointing, what is with the exaust systems for the magnum being so rediculously expensive, $999 list for the borla and $949 for the magnaflow, for example you can get a magnaflow system for a vette for $647 or one for a mustang for under $600, both of which are also dual exaust systems.

also for the magnaflow, has anyone seen the dyno sheet for it yet? they have a link for it on their website, but I just get a page not found when I click it.

well now that i think about it the official retail price of the Borla system is like $1050 or something and you can get it for approx $800 FROM internet vendors. Hopefully the same applies to the Magnaflow which would put it in the 700 or so range. And yeah them HAVING a broken link for the dyno sheet sucks.

    Sizzler,

Do you know the make and model of the resonators you purchased?

Guys, I found a car stereo place in Woodstock, VA that can ORDER the magnaflow exhaust for $630(extra 50 if I want to UPS it)!!! I'm really considering it otherwise I was going to REPLACE trhe suitcase and resonators with an Imci (I think that's how it's spelled) muffler. Decisions, decisions.......:-P

OK Sizzler, you've gone and done it now!

How did you measure the performance gain?

And what do you mean that it's better than flowmaster and magnaflow?

    Splain yourself Lucy!

    Sizzler,

Do you have a contact number so I may call them up and get the information about you resonators? Also, do you have way of getting us a sound clip?

Another question posed is that setup passing emissions inspections.
