Both systems are full 3" exhaust....Both sound great when comparing the two and installing them on some customer's cars...I am running MagnaFlow w/ center muffler delete on my SRT and love the sound.. BTW LT's no Cats either..

I have been leaning toward zoomers but it seems the exhasut of choice from a lot of my peers has been magnaflow.. I currently have a stock exchasut with supper 44's flowmaster wher the reso's were.. I am hoping that this will maybe free 5-10hp with a full cat-back

I replaced my Magnaflows for Corsas, because I wanted a 'raspier' sound than the Magnaflows had. The Zoomers are also pretty raspy. The Magnaflows to my ear were deeper and mellower - and kept more or less the same tone at WOT as at part throttle. The Zoomers and Corsas really wake up when you get on them, more than the Magnaflows do.

I would like the change in sound but my main concern to justify a $1000 would have to be an increase in Hp withthe exhasut or else i will just devote that money to the new short block..

Not sure about the SRT8's but on the RT, I have M/F's and like them...a lot! Nice tone at startup and there was a slight power increase, but the tone is really what your after. M/F's are smooth and not too rumbly, but noticable on WOT. A little drone when the MDS engages under load at cruising speeds. (But if you have the Diablosport you can disable MDS entirely and you get no drone at all w/ 8 cylinders active all the time and you shouldn't have to be concerned with that on an SRT8 anyway).

A good friend of mine has an 06 MagRT with Zoomers and they are pretty aggressive! Loud and has that American thunder type of rumble! He thinks there's no drone on the highway with them, but he does not have the Diablosport...so there I noticed an ever so slight noticable bump when the MDS disengages under load at cruising speed. I can't vouche for any power increases w/ the Zoomers, as I have not personally sat behind the wheel on WOT with my buddies MagRT.

SRT M/F's are 3" all the way back to the tips and the tips are 4". http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=16642
SRT Zoomers are 3" pipes. http://www.zoomersexhaust.com/vehicl...harger_srt.asp

If you can get Zoomers for $800-$900...go for it! M/F's go for about $600. Zoomers will turn heads!!! Magnaflows will too, but just not as much.

My 2 cent's worth, I have JBA shorties, JBA catless mids and Magnaflow catback with the rear muffs removed and two resonated tips instead. I get some drone, but I get alot of compliments that say " man what do you have in that car, what did you do to it! Best part is some of them are on Harley's and they still can hear the car as long as I'm in front. The Magna-Flows are deep with out the raspy, but you have to remove the rear muffs and deal with a little drone. I think the center 2-in-two-out muffler is the key with the Tru-Flo cross-over and then remove the rear pieces. Then sell them to a guy that has a V-6. He will love it as long as he "Brelle-Cremes" it.

I've had both Zoomers and Magnaflow and I love the Magnaflows. As they've broken in they sound even better than when I first got them. And they sure turn heads when I get on it. Love them...

I have the maganflow cat back and love it, but I also have mds disabled which cures about 80% of the drone.
