Ok, here we go again, lol. I know a few of us have it installed. The sound is great, you can check out JBA's web site and listen to the sound clips there. Inside the car it is a bit louder then stock, enough to notice anyway. You can still hold conversations with people in the back seat. Out side you have a nice cam lope sound at idle and it sounds mean at WOT. At WOT inside the car, she sounds even better. Very mild drone at 2k RPM, not annoying. I love the system! Good muscle car sound.

I received mine today and it looks as though UPS destroyed the box in transit. It was all retaped and it looked as though some of the parts we removed and put back in. I will have to check to make sure there isn't any damage tonight. It looks as though it will be easy to install once the car is lifted.

I installed my JBA catback system last night. It took me by myself about 2 hours to do with hand tools and a floor jack. I live in the Chicago area and did this in my garage from about 8:15 til 10:15. If you have the ability to raise the front and the rear of the car this will be helpful. I had the rear only raised and had jack stands under the rear for some added support. I am not a small guy so getting to the front bolts wasn't easy. Here are my hints to a smooth install.

Lift the front and rear of the vehicle.

They tell you to loosen and swing the support out of the way, but it has four nuts, so just take it off.

Use WD-40 especially on the rubber exhaust hangers.

I unbolted the rear four exhaust hangers (two on each side) instead of using a pry bar. It was easier to remove the rubber hanger when the exhaust was off the car.

Make sure when removing the last hanger don't let the entire stock exhaust system fall on your face like I did. I have a fat lip this morning, I should have known better.

If you can put another jack under the stock exhaust to keep it level it will slip right off the cat pipes.

It was a pretty straight forward installation. However, I couldn't fire it up last night because my wife was sleeping in the room above the garage. So I had to wait until this morning.

First impressions: When I fired it up for the first time it sounded great. It wasn't too obnoxious but it had a great rumble. Out on the street it sounds excellent when under accelleration especially when using the autostick and leaving it in gear and winding it out. I was only able to drive about five miles this morning because I live close to work. I still have to take it out to open it up and also to see if anything rattles. But so far I love it.

I love the sound when you use the auto-stick to decellerate.

It is too early for me to say right now since I haven't driven it much. I will get back to you after driving it for a while. On my drive to work this morning I didn't seem to mind the sound at all. My 16 month old daughter in the back seat of the Magnum didn't seem to mind.

I have had JBA headders on my Ram for a year. Their build quality is second to none. Wish I waited for them on my RTMagnum and I wouldn't have the friggin CEL with Dynatec long tubes.
