Yup, ya heard it first from me, Mr. Whiner. I'm a sad, sad boy now.

Just received this about the Kiesler 6 speed:

Hello Gentleman,

We have run into a delay on the LX platform 6 speed kit. We don’t have an expected ship date any longer. I have a memo stating 2008 late but things may change.

I apologize for the inconvenience and will be happy to answer any questions.

On a positive note, I was able to take the Charger on a long trip a couple of weeks ago we put over 1000 miles on it and the mileage was a little over 24 mpg. I ran into a couple of guys at the Mopar show at Indy who said there best in the auto was around 20.5 this is on a 6.1 equipped car. I am not sure what the 5.7 car will do.

The trans performed flawlessly and was a blast to drive. We even got into a late model GTO on the way out of town He didn’t have a chance!!

This kit will be a great mod to your car. We at Keisler appreciate your patience.

late '08? Christ, that's 18 months delay! No matter, I can't afford one until my warranty conveniently expires anyway, but still, that sucks!

Put all the pieces together everyone. DCX has either bought the rights to this product for a limited timeframe or has held it up in legal.

No other valid reason for this massive delay and no communication for 3 months

Its gotta have something to do with electronics.

I bet someone got tripped up on some part of the "emissions laws" that the trans computer plays a part... and removing auto trans function would mess it up or something of the sort...

Kool, I'll have a year left to pay on the Mag by then, I would seriously look into this once the Mag is paid in full.

I already found all the parts myself. problem is for the RT is rear gears. It at best is marginal with the SRT gears. Fooling the car, I may have an idea that just might work and that experiment starts in June.

The tranny can be had for around 2500 without finding a deal, the bell housing is 1200, clutch around 7 bills and all the other misc work I can build myself. But them fricking gears, well that's a different story.

And to date, I've convertly followed everything that Shafi has responded about on their Charger, no one from any of our forums has driven it. The ride has yet to make any of the MnG's it was supposed to be at.
