    I think I may have my P0420's & P0430's licked...

    I just traveled 2400 miles (from NH to GA and back again) without throwing any catalyst efficiency (P0420, P0430) CELs...

    I had been plagued with these consistently ever since I installed my MagnaFlow high flow cats several months ago, and had started experimenting with spark plug anti-foulers trying to eliminate them shortly thereafter. The first set had little effect if any, but I found that by stacking two sets of drilled-out anti-foulers, I could extend the time between CEL recurrences from 10 - 20 miles to a couple hundred miles or more.

    So the night before I left for the Shindig I replaced the first set of anti-foulers that had been drilled out to accommodate the 02 sensor (the set threaded into the mid-pipe) with a set that had not been drilled out. And that seems to have done the trick - I have not thrown a catalyst efficiency code since.

    Now I'm not naive enough to believe that will never see one of these codes again, but I figure that by increasing CEL intervals in to the thousands of miles, my odds of passing my state ODBII emissions scans are much improved. Quite a relief to know that I wont have to change my exhaust configuration every time my yearly inspection rolls around...

    Hopefully this tidbit of info can help some of folks that are struggling with this...

    IS this a problem with just the Magnaflows or are the JBA suspect as well?

    I also have an R/T equipped with JBA high flow cats that has never thrown an emissions-related CEL, and I don't know of anyone running this configuration that can say different.

    It's the MagnaFlow high flow cats for the SRT8 that are causing issues for some...

    I just failed my emissions test.
    Problem I had with the non faulers is after intsalling I got different codes thrown saying something is now to lean! So I pulled them.

    I will now try stacking. Can someone (Bipto) tell me what size bit used to drill out the non-faulers?

    Strange. I'm surprised that these would cause other problems, as I was under the impression that the sole purpose for the rear o2 sensors was to monitor the health of the cats - perhaps this is incorrect... You are only installing them on the rear 02's, right..?

    I apologize - I do know the drill size off the top of my head (just under 1/2", IIRC), but I can find out for you when I get home.

    I did something similar to you bipto, i used the drilled out foulers then added a 2nd one on each not drilled. This did it for me too! No codes for sometime now. It's lovely not to see the CEL on.

    I have PO2096 codes too along with the occasional PO420 and PO430. Stacked anitfoulers didn't help. Even changing the PCM didn't change anything, so it must be a condition the downstream O2s are really reading.

    Agreed! It's been almost 3500 miles now since I've seen a P04X0 <knocks on wood>...

    I just wish we could figure out what's up with crhemi's latest mis-behavior...
