    How's this set up?

I wanted to liven up my '05 R/T a bit. I set my goals, figured out what parts I wanted, then all of a sudden....Bam.....I realized I couldn't get past the CA emissions requirements. So, I've lowered the bar while trying to maintain a decent power increase.
How am I looking with this set up? Am I going to be happy with it? Power gains?

    PPP stage II heads
PPP stage I cam 210/216 114lsa (milder cam needed for CA emissions)
    25% underpulley
    Forged one piece pushrods
    JBA shorty headers
    JBA mids w/HF cats
    Corsa cat back exhaust

Personally I'd go longtubes... W/ a stage I cam you're not quite to where you *need* them, but IMHO you'll have plenty of low end to shred the tires, so you won't miss a lil torque that the shorties may or may not have provided you.

longtubes dont fly very well with CA emmissions, hence why hes going with JBAs and a stage 1 cam that aint too choppy

Bill I think you'll like it. I know someone who's getting into a very similar set up as you are... a bit more on the budgeted parts side, but similar.

The stage II isnt choppy at all, car would idle but with some issues on the stock tune, not sure what you leave out on the table with stage I vs II but i made good power with the stage II cam.

I just can't afford to take a chance. I need to be sure.

Try and find someone in CA running the Stage II cam, it may be worth bumping up to a Stage II. Other than that I think it's a nice set up.

Already inquired. Don't think it'll get past Emissions test. I want to be sure the first time.
