how much should the install of a new cam run

how much should the install of a new cam run?

I would like to do it my self but this is beyond my skill, although I do want to learn. has anyone done this in Chicago, and have any recommendations?

I want to do the sidewinder on my 5.7, but have no idea how much install would run. The labor may put this outside my reach to swing this past the Boss!

Figure anywhere between $800 and $1000 depending on the individual shop you go to. Don't forget the extra cost of the oil as the old oil is dumped during the process.

I think Bandit is off a tad......most shops are going to get over $1000,and alot are inexperienced on these motors. All of the vendors can recommend a good shop........I know of a good one but he's in NY

He's so modest. He's talking about BFNY Motorsports, that's Bum Feck New York and it's his garage.

Erik can get you all fixed up in a jiffy on your upgrade. If you want to drive a little and see the beautiful Adorondack National Park, give Erik your business. He's the best!
