    hmmm... Viper powered LX... anyone?

    Saw this the other day and just wondered what it would take to create a Viper V10 powered LX...

    lotta snipping and bending in the engine bay, but tuning... i just don't know, you'd have to convert to standalone almost certainly. I'd love to see it happen!

    heh, you can probably get it to work, since there is an IPM that can get the bus to work. SRT10's are PCI/CAN hybrid bus'es

    With all of the power options available for the 6.1-based block - I can only see this being a novelty item.
    (Waiting patiently for the 2011/12 300C SRT 8)

    Well, Nathan will most likely turn out the highest numbers to date with his build... independent of all others' speculation and calculations, I am expecting/hoping to see 850 rwhp out of his car.

    I've seen (in person) Vipers that lay down close to 1700 rwhp...


    So while the 6.1 power options are there, the V10 options are definitely there as well. But to mod the V10, you are going to pay a "Viper tax" on all your parts and labor, just because.

    I would love to see it as well.

    There are a lot of 1000+ hp Vipers out there. Seems to be lots of power potential. Who knows how the rest of the car would hold up.

    Yeah I guess there's a point when it become unsreetable and will really only show its potential on a track. Nothing more fun than losing traction at 100mph.
