    Fuel Pressure Gauge - Underhood

    What or how have folks installed fuel pressure gauge(s). I'm considering modding the front end of the fuel rails. Looking for feedback...

    I know Modern Muscle put one on Power Houses car, I am thinking of adding one to my dash display myself.

    Ask John Parts.

    Think about getting a signal sender to a gauge inside your car. Kinda useless as a guage on the end of the rail if you cant see it.

    Its on my to do list, lol. I probably wont do an actual guage, maybe just a sender that I can log with logworks. RobAGD is trying to turn me into a data geek

    Hemissary I used a Autometer Cobalt FP Guage and sending unit, take look in the fuelish thinking thread I started a bit ago, it details the install and stuff.

    I also tapped it to log the 0-5v to an SSI4 data logger.

    I just have it set up with a mechanical guage on the regulator for now. Here's how I chose to mount it:

    Thanks BAMF, everyone;

    Never occurred to me to tap into the 0-5V for logging, I could run the signal to the Zeitronix or the Aeroforce set, thanks on that idea...

    On a 6.1, I think there might be enough room to attach a fuel pressure guage straight to the rail... not sure on this though, and it might not be a great idea to attach an extra mass on the end of the fuel rail anyway. I do know that on a 5.7 based motor, the EGR tube gets in the way of putting the regulator right on the rail.

    Here is a pic of mine forward on the driver's side fuel rail with the little piece of burned red plastic stuck to it. It once looked very nice. It's an electronic sensor that feeds an in car gauge. I'm not sure if it works anymore. I'll be able to tell in a few months.
