Do you think a $20 Summit Racing muffler would sound the same as an $80 Flowmaster? I dont really want to pay $160 for mufflers if the design and sound is the same.

the flowmaster is a chambered muffler. the summit racing muffler is most likely a turbo muffler. i doubt if they would sound or flow the same. save your money and wait to buy the real thing.

i have the flowmaster catback system and currently have the quickest and fastest naturally aspirated 5.7 magnum with a 12.52@111.41
I have a Flowmaster 70 series on my last two Ram 1500's (cause they flow pretty well and are $ cheap) (last one rotted off my Ram in three winters) The quality compared to the Corsa on my CSRT 8 is not even in the ballpark (of course neither is the price). I also don't want the dreaded flowmaster drone when driving my 300 (another reason I went with the Corsa). As I said before I just don't think the Flowmaster belongs on a $30K-$45K LX. JMO.![]()
