Flowmaster Super 40s w/Blastin Bobs Pipes... HELP

Wondering if anyone out there has used this combo before, and if so, did you like the sound? It doesn't have to be those exact Flowmasters either, so I guess just Flowmasters w/Blastin Bobs kit would be good to know about. Thanks for any help!

I have the FM's but no BB after just pipes. Its nice and throaty and loud, but it does have a bit of drone and interior rattles.

Have'nt done it yet ,but bob recommeded the 6db versions to quell some of the resonance from my 40 flows and still have the agressive sound, let you know when I do,D.

Decisions, decisions, decisions... Both places I want to take my car to, both wanna put 2.50" pipe from my mufflers back (mufflers are 2.50") so I can see what they're saying. But if I got Bob's 2.25" and just kept the stock pipe from the mufflers to bobs, that might save me money or be about the same as replacing all the pipe/tips. Sorry, just thinking out loud.
    Anyone else out there?

Do your self a favor and just put on the blastin bobs first. If you want more sound you can always remove the suitcase muffler later on. I just put on the 6db kit and I love it.

I have bob's 9db kit and flowmaster original 40's and I couldn't be happier. There is a bit of drone between 1500 and 2000 but it's nonexsistent on either side of that. At WOT she really barks and everyone around you will know your coming.Be prepared to smile!

I have the flowmaster super 44s with blastin bobs 4db kit and i like it alot. it depends on how loud you want it. You can go ond his website and he has clips of all his kits. the clip of the super 44s with the 4db kit is actually my car he made the clip after he installed my kit. The 4db kit is the wife pleaser kit for cars with flowmasters, but ive heard the 6db kit with the suitcase still on, and the flows with the 4db is louder to me. it just depends on how loud you want.I have cai also just to let you know.

I got the 9db and the wife was ok with it. I put the daytona suitcase on afterwards and now she's not so happy. Take one step at a time to make sure you get what you're looking for

I was unaware that the daytona muffler was different! Lol, I wouldn't have that would make a difference. Thanks for the help... think I will go for the blastin bobs with my flows! Now I just gotta figure out how loud I wanna go...
