About LinkBacksHawaii RT just called me and is in need of some serious help.......
He is going to a military training / school and MUST check in by the 20th..............on the way he stopped somewhere in IL for whatever.
They were doing work on the car and had a small accident in where the jack or jack stand flipped out and made a HUGE hole in the oil pan.
He can NOT find an LX 5.7 oil pan..............
I gave him STU's cell number (sorry, it was an emergency), Scott's number, and Sharadon's number...........
If ANYONE has an oil pan please speak up to help this fella out............

he said he was at some Dakota Nationals thinggie........
His car is at a dealership..................but the dealership can't get the part...................so he called me. I have a truck pan but no car pan.........
He has got to get on the road ASAP because you can NOT show up late to a school date.............

At this point, the military school takes priority over car.
DO NOT miss school, the car can wait.......
Sorry for the misfortune, but I can not believe the stealership can't help.
Might have to leave car and have someone else pick up and deliver.

Damn that sucks. Stealership should go over and beyond to fix their mess up. Wonder if Cleveland Pick a Part has one? Good luck.

Dont know how far away that is.. they should be able to ship UPS, but you will need to pay the freight ontop of list price on the part.

I'd be calling machine shops and welding shops in the area if it's an emergency. Granted this is a last resort.. but welding it up temporarily would be the quickest out to get him to school so he can deal with it later. It would take less than 20 mins to tig a plate on the bottom - from the time you show up to the time you walk out the door. Originally Posted by RobAGD

I think they did......................they listed every place that had a pan.........seems like there's a few.
BTW..............its not a small dent............he described it as a 4" gash!

Yea ? In less it killed a rail, you cut the gash / hole out and tig in a plate fill with gas to check for leaks and your done. And like i mentioned its a temp fix to get him to school but it would be a solid fix.
