Well, I guess he answered your e-mails. Like I said in a previous thread, His communication with customers that aren't running in the top of the time slip database here sucks.

No matter how good he is at tuning, if he never answers e-mails for weeks on end, its a waste of time and money.

Its like a H.S. click I guess. If you are in, you are in, if not, well you sit on the sidelines and watch the game:(

Oh, and I never said he couldn't tune a car, but I'll say it repeatedly, he does NOT ANSWER E-MAILS unless you are in the circle.

Your 12.13 run seems to back up your Dyno, Do you have any idea what the DA was when you did the dyno pull and are those numbers corrected?

How about The Da the day you ran the 12.13?

Knowing what cam your running would help a lot, Who's heads are on there?
I dont know what the DA was on either day, and dont know how to find that out. The heads are my stock ones with the short side worked and stock valves.

No idea as this dyno uses " tractive effort" for a torque rating. I asked if they could convert it to pounds feet and no one could tel me.

Dyno Dynamics in Shootout Mode will show about 15% lower than a dynojet

Like cowboyjw said we keep an arsenal of known good tune files on hand as starting points.
BTW, cowboyjw, how does she feel?
Thanks Johan, is it possible for you to provide me with a tune that you think would be best and dial it in using the above mentioned procedure's? I dont have a wideband sensor, but i can get access to a dyno easily, would this be enough? Thanks Scotty

Yeah Steve ,Lee tuned it. He was somewhat rushed trying to get cars ready for a show including mine. He did say there was some fine tuning to do. Car surges going from drive to reverse and vise versa. Do you remember what cam is in the car? I would love to get that 500hp youre talkin bout...hehe!

    hey mate

ya i remember the camshaft but i have no idea what they did with the cylinder heads and compression etc, the compression will be the big thing as you will find as most of the people on here will be the same running between 10.75.1 compression right up to 11.3.1 compression this will have a huge impact on hp and especially torque. did you get any flow sheets on the heads? you will need to know howmuch flow and at what lift you saw the best flow numbers and at what percentage that was, and as i said compression would be very nice to know also, i gather your running it on 98 bp? the et you ran looks average but the mph is flat! showing not a huge amount of hp in the deep end.
DA for the record being that you probably either raced at gladstone or mackay woould have been around 2800da at aboout 95-100% humidity

Hi Steve, compression is at 10.5.1 i believe, and i dont have any flow data on the heads. Guess i'll have to rely on the nitrous to pull the 11's i have been trying to get for over a year now Oh and yes BP98 always.
