    Dyno tune, etc...

Well, considering the event that followed the dyno tune, I thought this would be the ‘doubly” correct forum to post this thread.

I made the journey south to DiabloSport to have Johan dyno tune my Stroker. All went pretty well, though I can’t post the actual resulting graph as yet.
As best I can recall it peaked at 452hp and 468 ft-lb of torque.

Paul (Charg-um) was in attendance at the time. We shot the breeze at little.

After Johan was finished he said to drive around a bit to assure that it idled and was driveable. I eased out and got about 200 ft and heard a loud thump followed by an increased exhaust noise. I stopped the car and got out. There behind my car sat my exhaust from the x-pipe back. The recently installed x-pipe clamp was too low and caught on the edge of a man-hole.

We loaded the exhaust in Johan’s truck and I drove my open header beast to a Tire Kingdom where my car is awaiting a rack at this very moment.

I’m in Taco Bell next door eating some pretty minimally acceptable food watching, waiting , and on the forum.

    Oh well, life goes on.

You're right. Correction: After Johan tuned the car, he said see what she'll do. I floored it and the pressure shock at the x-pipe blew the entire exhaust system right off the car.
