Purpose: Make a Dodge Magnum be all it can be in a road race environment. Do our best to overcome its weaknesses (giant pig size, weight) and capitalize on its strengths (ahem... hemi). Don't just tackle one thing... hit it all. And spiff the look while we're at it.
This project has lasted so far for three months in the shop, and goes well beyond that in terms of development. At present its not done, but with any luck we're about two weeks away from that. Maybe less and I'll be able to discuss details and show pics on some of the things below fully after a visit to SVS R&D scheduled for this coming Friday. The only reason I am posting this thread now is because its time to at least put up one of the sub-threads.
Sub-threads? Yes I am doing something different to cover this build. The DHR Project is pretty ambitious, on top of an already extensively modified-for-track car. Further, it will have a few firsts for the LX platform in different areas. To keep the discussion focused mod by mod, I'm going to create different threads and tie them together with this one. Of the list below, each item will become a live link to a thread as they get posted over time.A LOT of vendors are involved in this project, and I have gotten a lot of help from individual members as I either bounce wild ideas off of the sane, or seek crazy ideas from the maniacal. I'll thank individual vendors and members in individual threads and skip that part here.
