    Customizing Cutout Location?

So ive been thinking about going with a customized exhaust for a while now, involving aftermarket Cats and Cutouts.

current im running JBA headers, Catless mids and Catback.

my thought is that you could weld in cats similar in location to where longtubes put them, or even further down closer to the xpipe?

and put the cutouts in front? i tried to squeeze under my car the under jsut to get a visual of what im thinking about but even then, it seems awfully tight no matter how you slice it trying to put the cutouts in front of the cats.

any one running it this way? after running catless for this long, i feel like putting the cutouts aft the cats wont give me the rumble i desire-- but i ask because it would also allow me to put cats back in and not have to deal with inspection swaps.

swapping isnt such a big deal except the leaks... this exhaust has come apart and gon back together so many times, my header--> cat connection is not reliable and my cat-->xpipe connection is almost always leaking.

i want to have at least the cat/xpipe connection welded, but then i wont be able to swap for inspection....

any suggestions? thoughts? are cutouts after the cats still hell raising enough? lol. you gotta remember, im on JBA and catless arleady

    thanks

    wow thats an awesome setup.
never seen people tap into teh collector on the longtubes tho, seems like it might screw up the flow,
bet it sounds insane tho. very sweet

I'll be doing cutouts pre-cats and then running a parallel exhaust with the stocker and merge it back in at the tips. I will probably have to replace the stock suitcaseses with something else but that's the plan. The cutouts will be boost driven so they'll open at 5psi of boost from the S/C. Of course that will also be able to be shut off as well.
Stock most of the time, automatic loud exhaust routed out the rear when racing.
