    Cold Air Intakes for Magnum RT

    After doing some reading on this forum, it sounds like there are only 3 systems -- K&N, Airaid, and 360. Are there any others? If not, of the 3, is there one that you guys are all in agreement is the best? I'm talking everything ... power, ease of install, fit, etc. I'm looking to buy one as an X-mas gift for my wife and her car. Thanks!

    In my opinion, for the money, the 360 is the best value. They will powder coat it most any color for you included in the price. Easy to install. Takes about 30-40 minutes. Very noticeable difference.

    I've always been a big K&N fan. I've got them in all my cars. I would maybe wait a month or so to see if they come out with a FIPK rather then that Typhoon thing they are selling now.

    That's the exact route i'm taking right now....leaning towards the 360 but am waiting till mid December just in case K&N comes out with something better then the Typhoon.

    360 is $175 (free shipping) at Eastcoasttruckin.com. Took about 2 weeks to receive. I think they also offer 12% forum member discount (I found out after the fact).

    Is the 360 set up you are talking about the one called the Power Shot? They claim this is dyno tested and adds 10.7 hp. That sounds pretty good to me. Does anyone have this system?

    In my opinion the 360 is a great value for the price. I have had mine for a month or so now and love it. Really improves throttle response and lets that hemi breathe. Is it the best one out there?? Don't know. There are a number of new systems coming out and I have not tested or seen all of them. I really like the fact that you get it powder coated in most any color you want and it is included in the price.

    yeah the 360 seems like a great bargain especially since it gives similar performance to the K&N typhoon but at a cheaper price.

    Personally i was all set to get a 360 till i was intrigued by the Vararam sytsem so now i'm gonna wait a bit and see what this second wave of intakes offers. But out of the three that you can buy now (K&N, 360, Airaid) i'd get the 360.
