Hey Gabe, sorry to hear you still haven't got you Charger back yet. Man, that totally sucks! I can't believe it's taken them this long to get you back together. What's up with that?
I went to the Mohegan Sun M&G today and a couple of us were talking about you and the Charger. Was a pretty good turn out and folks had fun. Only 2 Magnums there! Thanks again for the wheels, they look great, I'll post you a pic later.
Oh btw, I blew out my transfer case this week. Had to put another one in. That sucked!

And in my case, it's not the shop's fault it's taking so long to get me my Charger back. I took over 2-3 weeks to decide what to do, then ordering parts, then fitting it into their schedule, then they had to order more parts.
Plus the ~2 weeks it took me originally to find out that it WAS a broken valve spring.
Charger's DONE
I'm being told it runs great.
Picking it up tomorrow
somebody missed out on some easy money, choosing to not work on my car, that's for sure ... lol

Soooo, anyway ...
I picked up the Charger around Noon time today
She runs awesome, pretty much as if nothing had happened to it
The techs at Enhanced Street Performance also installed the new OEM rear stabilizer links that I had dropped off, and now my clunking noise from the rear over bumps is gone
I thought it was related to the coilovers, but as it turns out it was the rear links.
They also had to drill out a broken subframe bolt since they apparently had the subframe down to get the oil pan off. They ended up replacing two subframe bolts, the second one for preventative maintenance
One problem they discovered with the new PSI valve springs: they needed the sleeves that come with 6.1 springs in order for the PSI springs to fit perfectly. Without the sleeves there was slight slack. They took it upon themselves to call HHP and straighten it out. They had to order me a set of new 6.1 springs to get the sleeves. Guess that's the only way to get the sleeves.
So, she's back
I couldn't wait to "drop the hammer" at 60mph again... it's been over 3 months since I've done that, and boy, did I miss that feeling
For those of you that haven't heard/seen this video, it's older, but it shows the car doing just that, a punch from 60 mph, and I like it so much that I can't get enough of watching it, myself:
Well, I didn't get to drop the hammer much.
I had it back 5 days and it stalled on me while sitting at a light, barely restarted and when it finally did restart, it was rapping again.
The shop finally told me today what had happened.
They found that the valve seats on the other side head, the passenger side, fell out and did major damage to the piston and some damage to that head.
So, it's a good thing I ordered and they're installing a complete reman longblock.
Getting a 3-yr/100k mi warranty on the new engine, and it's gonna be stock.
So, that's my update, unfortunately :(

Got notified late today that she's done.
They'll let me know tomorrow exactly how much I owe and fill me in on the rest of the details.
My schedule's pretty full tomorrow and they're not around Sunday, so I may not be able to pick her up till next Saturday ... :(

Got the Charger back!!
Stock engine, stock tune, MDS working, no warning lights or any unusual noises. The crew at Enhanced Street Performance did a great job with the engine swap.
It may not be as quick as before the whole mess started back in February, but it's still the most comfortable car I've ever had, it still turns heads, handles great (with the BC Racing coilovers and the new Goodyear Eagle GT tires) and no longer requires premium gas
