Sorry I couldn't make it to the VMP event fellas.. like always the damn bug bit my car... splitting the shifter cable then I rushed ordered the wrong cable.. next it was chasing down a random fuel pump cutoff.. this was all sorted out, and I should have expected it with a build such as this.
A heat shield might help direct the heat away from the intake. Might be a simple solution...

IDK what the whole engine compartment looks like but I would think about going to the fenderwell maybe with the intake if going all the way forward is a PITA? Would be short and sweet to do.......thinking out loud.......
