Also check for codes with the Predator, just because the CEL isn't lit doesn't mean they are not in there.

No trouble codes, have checked several times and nothing is there...just checked again after logging and still nothing there.
If anyone has dataviewer I can email over the log file...
Fuel trims do appear to be erratic..compared to a log I did a while back and it is much different now.

Stock 5.7
Nick:
"Yep. Once your coolant starts warming up, it starts going from 20-20% rich at idle. You need to send this to your tuner and have him lean it out at idle for you.
I’ll bet it idles fine for a little bit, and then starts surging on you? The trims are only about 8% rich when it’s cold, then starts dumping more fuel as it begins warming up."
Nick, thanks for taking a look at this for me!
The idle tune is definitely off and has been for a while.
The thing I still don't understand is why it would suddenly get so bad the car cannot even be driven. I daily drive this car and have been for the last 2 months since arrington sent it back to me.
There was really no driveability issues at all prior to this, it was sudden and now basically won't run.
Even when it is 8% rich the car is running rough, then after I rev the engine it goes really rough and will die.
I really think something mechanical is wrong somewhere to account for the sudden change.
This whole thing reminds me far too much of what happened last time my 5.7 had a valve spring fail....
If you're running the Arrington heads, the springs should have no problem at all with the 607 cam. Not sure why the tune would suddenly go bad, other than what Erik is suggesting about the temps. Do you have your downstream O2 sensors modified at all? Have you tried turning the O2 sensors off in the Predator?
Or perhaps they were turned off, and you turned them back on? Doing that, it would take a little while for the tune to readjust itself......
Yes I have the arrington heads..its not that they couldnt handle it, I just get suspicous of springs since I had them fail before.
I have not touched anything with the O2's, and have not modified anything in the tune...as I mentioned it was sudden and hapened during normal driving.
I forgot we have the misfire codes turned off because of the annoying P0300... so there is a very high probability misfire codes are actually being thrown. I will have to turn them back on and see if I can narrow down if it is a specific cylinder.
...this also explains why it is running rich if it is actually misfiring.
Yes, I know I need them turned back on with CMR. They are turned off because I would get P0300 random engine misfire codes during burnouts and at high rpm/speed. During normal driving I was not getting codes.
So I guess where I am at for now is I need to check fuel pressure at the rail, if low go back and look at the pump.
I am also suspicous of my cyl 4 fuel injector as that was the only cylinder that didnt have fuel soaked spark plugs.
