My friend has a Jeep commander with an issue. The predator version for his is U7137 (I think). mine is U7135. I would imagine the OBD ports to be the same. Does anyone know for sure if I would be able to read/clear the codes on his vehicle? Thanks in advance.
in a word no..
I once plugged my U7135 into a Crossfire to see if I could read codes and it just gives an unrecognized vehicle/vin error. can't do anything.

That was one of the pluses of the Superchips unit. It works on my Dodge and I've used it to read and clear codes on a Chebby.
Well, the Mayans and other Soothsayers were right, the end has begun.

Ok, thanks for all the replies!
If it is a CAN PCM, the U7135 will work.
If it is an 05-06 model that talks on the SCI bus, you'd need a U7137 or U7134 Predator to read codes
No harm in trying by any means.
