    C&L Intake??

Well I have a C&L intake and was reading about them getting really hot and I notice myself I was wondering about ceramic coating it? Would this help at all? Or does this only work to keep heat in?
SHOULD I DITCH THE C&L FOR SOMETHING ELSE???? Opinions please! Thanks!

I actually just went over this... It's actually a design flaw... and it's going to retian conductive heat from the Throttle Body anyways.. spend your money on something else.. I went Airraid.... it looks and performs well

I did not notice in your signature if you have a Predator, but if you do then I would data log and monitor the engines Intake Air Temp (IAT) and (ECT) engine coolant temp along with RPM and MPH. If I'm in city traffic or at a light my IAT is very high, but at highway speeds the temp is usually 8-10 degrees above ambeint. I use an early generation Carbon Air Hammer. I also have the lower front facia vents un-blocked and the brake fluid resevoir cover removed. My thinking is that it helps to allow air to flow through the engine compartment.
