Bob – Thanks for your contact. Borla’s system will be similar to ours in terms of performance, since they are both straight-through. The main difference is the packing material inside the mufflers. Borla uses fiberglass, which will absorb moisture, blow out, and get louder over time. We use a ceramic rockwool material that will not do this. It instead maintains a deeper, bassier, more muscular sound. You do need to expect increased interior resonance with any performance system, but our engineers don’t design them to be overwhelming – we actually make one of the quieter systems on the market. CHECK out our sound clip on the website. This system uses a mid-mounted x-core muffler, which is used to tone down resonance, in addition to the 2 rear-mounted mufflers.
