    Borla Catback

Installed Borla today. It is very well made , and was easy to install. It sounds great , deep and rich. It doesn't sound like a pickup with Flowmasters. Quiet at idle , pleasent tone cruising at 70 & 80 , nice deep full bodyed roar under hard acceleration. It has a nice clean look on the Magnum , nothing hanging down and looking added on. Im very pleased with this system. Its worth the price. Performance increase is very noticeable to me at all speed ranges. It sounds and performs more like a muscle car now. I'm an old fogey , HAVING fun with acool car.

$$$$? Was it completely bolt on? If my wife saw me in there with a sawzall, she would blow a gasket. (only 850 miles)

yup completely bolt on. Just unbolt the old mufflers and remove. Install new system and off you go. Easy install about 2 hours if you take your time.

The stock system unbolts and slips off in two pieces. Remove the left rear muffler , and the rest of it slips off in one BIG piece. The Borla slips on and bolts up easily. There is no cutting or welding anywhere. The instructions that came with it are easy to read and do.

fogey, being an "old fogey" I hope you have a digital camera to take some pics. Many here want to see how much the Borla tips stick out when compared with the Magnaflow and stock. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. That seems like short money for such a boost. I think I'll wait for spring. New England winters can be Hell, so I'll probably use the truck most of the time.

Dammit, i wanna hear someone that went with Cherry Bombs. I dont want quiet or subdued, i want a mean low growl. Im running straight pipes right now, and its loud, but not deep enough.
